I like this quite a lot. Mycroft making a mistake is a great plot point. I thought that John's panic and flashbacks were extremely well done. You made me ache for him.

I tend to never really leave comments, because I feel like anything that I have to say has already been said, but I noticed that this fic only has 5! Which just blows my mind, because I love it so much! I have read, and re-read this too many times to count. It is, quite literally, my favorite Sherlock fic that I have ever read.

I just love the intensity and relationship dynamic. I tend to like a more defined romantic relationship, and this is is so pre-slash that it can even be taken as gen with a side helping of platonic bromance, but this is so masterfully done that I just can't help by simply adore it.

I just wanted to let you know how much I really appreciate this fic. I love the hurt!John/protective!Sherlock trope. It really is one of my favorites.
