That's him. Funerals. Also enthusiastically supported and signed legislation making it a crime for a woman (and also for the doctor) at even the very earliest stage for any non-fatal disability. Same legislation also mandated for anything non-survivable a woman must sit through a lecture on hospice for dying babies before they reluctantly grant permission.

I saw a thing on Twitter today that said 'Trump as the nominee. Now the GOP will finally learn what it's like to be forced to carry something you don't want to term.' Grim but so true.

You're braver than I.

I wouldn't have touched it with a bargepole even though it was being shown here.

I can't even read it, let alone listen to it. I got part of the way through, but then my brain was in danger of melting. And what's up with wikileaks? They have picked the wrong side, it seems. You know what's great about having your tv unplugged? You never have to actually see any of this crap. No sound-bite ads, nothing. It's definitely a good thing. You are a brave and courageous soul for doing this to yourself.

Wikileaks' founder is a misogynistic twunt and it seems that has now poisoned the organisation.

I can get involved because it's not my country and it's a few hours out of the year. If I had a year's worth of ads for these people, I would have been invoking the well organised militia part of the second amendment some years ago!

I honestly don't know how people even watch tv anymore. At least 1/3 of every half hour is ads, and all the political nonsense is just more annoyance. Why we have constant campaigning is beyond me. By the time an actual election comes around, a lot of people are so sick of it that they just don't care anymore and dont bother to even vote. No one tells you what the candidates stand for, what their records are, it's all about the 'horse race', who is ahead, who is falling behind, nothing about what matters. The candidates themselves focus on what's wrong with the other person, not what they stand for or have done in the past. Between this and the 'lowest common denominator' reality tv, it's no wonder this country is populated by idiots who actually have not got a clue about anything. Oh, little angry there, aren't I? LOL

One of my friends knew him back in the day, and commented something to the effect of "Smart guy; he has funny ideas about women tho."

YOU DON'T SAY, FRIEND.

I am glued to this election, and your analysis is stellar! Martha Raddatz is RAD. I love how you call her Megan....LOL.

I was listening to the debate on the radio in my car. I loved it when Trump said he was a gentleman, and the audience tittered. Haha.

MARTHA! I have heard of Martha Raddatz. We had the local feed right up to the start of the debate, and cut across just in time to hear the end of the intro, after she had given her name. That's my excuse and I am standing by it ;-) She was great. I fet very sorry for both hosts and believe that whoever moderates the third debate should be given a cattle prod and the ability to use it whenever anyone lies or fails to answer the question. It would make watching it a lot more fun!

God yes. Though the baying for blood at other points had me shouting 'GO HOME, AMERICA! YOU'RE DRUNK!' at the TV.

Martha used to be a reporter on one of our local news stations. She was good then, and is good now.

Haha. The third debate moderator is a Fox News shill named Chris Wallace, who is supposedly a registered Democrat. The chances of him keeping a lid on Donald are pretty slim. I have faith Hillary will be ready for even that.

I'm grateful that you sat through that torment and reported back, thus saving ME from having to sit through it.

:/

I am praying for you all. Or, at least, the atheist version, which is keeping my fingers crossed and keeping a close eye on what Nate Silver is saying.

I am compulsively checking the updates on 538. Hoping that Trump falls so hard that the Democrats have a chance in Congress.
