Tonight was the annual Thibodaux Playhouse Awards Banquet, and even though I didn't even have a chance to be nominated (I wasn't on stage at all in the 2005-2006 theatrical season), I was still there to pull for the folks from It Runs in the Family, the show I directed. We're dark right now (that's one of them Thespian terms that means we aren't doing a performance tonight), and we will be until Friday, but I was informed earlier at the Thibodaux Playhouse board meeting that the reservations for the second and final weekend of the show are doing quite well. For those wondering, the first weekend of It Runs in the Family went off BEAUTIFULLY. Good crowds, good reactions and a lot of fun. We've still got three performances left -- come and join

Two shows down -- three performances, if you count the audience dress rehearsal, and It Runs in the Family is going along beautifully. Even our numbers have been good -- 96 for the dress, 91 the first night and 130 on Friday.
