THINK ABOUT IT: Coup of the Animation Nation

I think I've pretty much thrown in the towel on this year's NaNoWriMo.

Next year, when I'm either out of school or just doing one or two classes for the sake of classes, and likely (HOPEFULLY) working, should have a heckuva lot more time (for better or worse) to tackle some writing.

Or perhaps do my own writing month over winter break or some such.

Good luck on yours, though--sounds like you're doin' well, and that ya don't need luck, though.

and good column--some very good points. In reading Mutant Genesis (X-Men 1-7) this week, I'm very much re-interested in the 90s' X-Men series.

and of course, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Lion King are among my all-time tops when it comes to movie favorites. the "3-D" and such stuff's ok in its own way, but much like video games--novel when they come out, but once it catches on, it's not the format that's the draw, but the story. anyone can 3-d animate whatever, but without the story to go with, i'd be more inclined to watch Dino-Riders.

ah well. 'nuff ramblin'.
