So this week's issue of "52" -- big reveal, right? The shocking identity of Supernova revealed! A great issue! So why the hell did DC Comics blow the surprise on the COVER? And why is this HARDLY the only book to commit this crime recently?

Excellent editorial. I felt much less compelled to read this week's issue of 52 since they gave it away on the cover. (I still read it, but it went lower in the stack.) There are times when things can still be compelling even when you know the ending but I like to be surprised.

I enjoyed the Guy Gardner miniseries because I like Guy, but if I wanted to show someone why I like him I would definetly give them GLC instead.

I don't know, I didn't have a big problem with it. It wasn't like they spoiled it a month before, or a week before. They just spoiled it 10 pages (or so) before it happened in the story.

I think you would have a point if they had been advertising for a while that Week Thirty-Seven contained the Supernova reveal, but they hadn't. You didn't know before you went to the comic store that you would learn who Supernova was. So what if you found out from the cover instead of from page 10 (or whichever page it was)?
