Three things on the indie game front, then stuff:

Super Mario Bros. Crossover, built from scratch by a dude who taught himself programing so he could make this game is exactly the kind of game you make when you want to make a game so bad you teach yourself programing to do so. Concerning SMBC, I find it particularly fun to play an underground level with Samus or Bill and use my wave beam/spread shot to completely destroy the structural integrity of the level. Walls? Ceilings? NOPE.

It was a fair while ago. He was clearly a visual designer of some kind, one of his comics was about that.
