Swimming update -- along with other health stuffs

Shortly after my first not-very-successful attempt at swimming as exercise, I got some books out of the library on swimming, and then failed to read them much while on a weeks vacation in VA. One of the things I found when I was on the Atkins diet was that after a certain amount of time, the craving (that is to say the RAGING DESIRE) for carbs went away. The only reason I don't do the Atkins/low carb thing now is that my medications inhibit the necessary ketosis.
I also have some recipes for low-carb crustless quiches and cheesecakes if you are interested. I am assuming that you do not eat meat for your proteins.

This is very, very good. Thanks for the update. I'm so glad you are getting good results early. The weight loss is wonderful. Even if you were reading high to start, you've lost at least 10 or so pounds. That's a great start!
