I Made It Just In Time

Thank goodness I flew home yesterday! By the time I touched down in Indy, it was about forty degrees -- a mere thirty degrees below what I'd been living in for the past week, so hey -- and there was sun. It is SO cool, Sherwood. I met two teachers--one who quit this last year, one on the verge of quitting--who were just about in tears over what the strategies could do to transform their classroom and their own teaching experience.

Thanks. :)

I could never before figure out how could do in an academic classroom what I did in a karate class. This conference not only pointed me in the right direction, but structured it in a way I can teach to others. Much awesomeness.

As for the snow... more coming tomorrow, then more coming over the weekend, and subzero windchills for the whole week...

I would say I'm jealous because I really want snow and I'm currently in a climate that miiiight get some but doesn't usually, but...that doesn't sound like weather I want to walk to class in. Stay warm!
