Second try. This was so much fun to write the first time, and an extra tap of the esc key made it all disappear. I'll avoid the MS rant now and get to the point.

We had a meeting with the physician's assistant where we explored all the options available, all the medical procedures, the pros, the cons, and what Mom wants. The decision was to be done with medical procedures, and to move her to the hospice as an inpatient today. That will be easier since she's not doing chemo. I'll stay down here until we're done.

This is hard, obviously, but it's a little easier now than this morning, when I was having to sort through leaving or staying and when and all.

Thanks to everybody for your thoughts and prayers and everything. I'm not sure there's going to be a lot more to say in this thread other than "we're done" so thanks for staying with this all the way through.
