Drunken Tango - Teresa Teng

Oct 05, 2009 10:01

My version:  I've translated because I'm bored.  I'm bored.  Who will save me?  Ever since I've signed up for these classes with a huge break between them, loneliness has accompanied me.  If I don't translate, how can I pass the time?

Teresa Teng's version, with translation )

LOL! I did write it like I was drunk. I must have been really groggy because I messed up one character throughout the whole thing and it was even part of the title. I was so convinced that it was the title that I didn't even look. XD

Ah I sure didn't catch it. I'm still trying to get the lines with "dimple" ;p I guess if it's wordplay, it sounds better in Chinese.

It seems odd, but it only makes sense to me if it's meant to be a pun. Or else I'm horribly wrong and they really are in a dimple...

I think this would be fitting for a mixtape I'm trying to compile.

I see you have many Teresa Teng songs. I've been meaning to find more songs by her.

I've been looking for "Scandal" for ages (I used to have it but I no longer do); do you have it?

Do you mean this Japanese song?

I don't have it on my computer, but if this is the song you want, I can run a search for it.

Sorry for the late response. My computer had trouble, but I couldn't find the song in MP3 format. It's pretty easy to rip it off of Youtube with Any Video Converter or something like that, but the quality won't be good. :(
