So, its that time of year when my eyeballs are burning pits of fire. Of course, this is also the day my last assignment is due, and I have to walk home upon completing it in -21-with-the-wind-chill weather (which isn't really that cold, I guess, but really, really feels like it right now).

But Dinosaur Comics can still make me feel better.

pain, angst

It's not that bad... I just did it. The wind will be at your back most of the way home. If you cut across to the cow barn and then up to the other road you can break up your total wind-face exposure time, which is good to do because the ice pellets are a little more than annoying. They kinda sound neat though. The only parts with deep snow are the actual fields and the very last stretch parallel to Fisher.

ah, people who say -21 with windchill isn't that bad!

I just finished reading a forum post where someone was freaking out because schools were closing, and the storms were really bad... with 4" of snow accumulated.

Granted, my POV is kinda skewed, since people in Thunder Bay break out the shorts and t-shirts whenever it gets just above zero ;)

yes, but your possibly skewed POV is also mine, and therefore the right one!
or at least the less bewildering one.
