Will was hard to read in that interview - sometimes he's really playful and others it's like he's just trying to make it through talking to yet another person so he can go take a nap. I think you nailed Jon's actions here - he's trying to play it off as a joke, and Will lapses out of it, and then he throws him a bone. In particular, I thought this:

He wasn't a comedian, just an actor, and he was just now starting to grow comfortable being interviewed with Will anyway. Will was the main attraction, he knew, the naturally funny one.

... was nice, because I think it's true, in that Will's mainly an improv actor, and Jon is very by-the-script. Will's best stuff probably comes when they just film him doing shit in front of a camera for six hours, and Jon is very precise, etc.

Anyways, this was cute!

Well, as an actor whose not so great at improvising unless I have to to get a scene back on track, I know how that feels, trying to keep up with someone who can just go way out there off the top of their head. :) It can be intimidating at first! :P

That made me feel really bad for Jon because it reminded me of all the horrible questions that've been asked that point out how much 'better' Will is than Jon. :( But bwahahah, this worked really nicely in the way that I really wish it had happened his way and can almost see it playing out like this. X) Though, one has to wonder if Will wouldn't have just leapt/attacked for... um... comedic value. ;)

I say eeeeeeeeee! for the RPS and hope you write some more sometime soon... like... of... you know. Do it, brave one. If you do, maybe I will, too. *bribes*

Oh noes! I didn't want anyone to feel bad for Jon! if that man has any sort of level head on him, the fact that Will is more popular shouldn't bug him that much (though, I admit, those interviewers did really rub it in a few times D:)

Oh, and surely, that was a stealth!rocket!kiss on Will's part. XD
