Hey guys :D This is my very first post in here. Thank you so much for all the great fanfics and icons you make all the time! This community is awesome.
I'd like to show you a few icons I made (for you). Tell me what you think of them, so maybe I can improve! Thank you :)

Seriously, good job! I like them all, but of course some I LOVE. Like #1. How do you do effects like that?

5 is great...and omg #8!! I love it! But then I stop loving it cause I love #9 so much! That is so damned CREEPY but great xD Jon Heder is adorable in general... #15 makes me happy in my pants.

I was gonna post some icons today but I think I'll wait and have a few more ready x3

"Happy in my pants" - that saying is hilarious XD

As for #1: I used Gimp and I used a filter... I duplicated the avatar layer and used Filter -> Distort -> Newsprint or something like that on the upper layer. I set all the controls I could find to the left and then I set teh layer to Screen with an opacity like 30 or something. I think there should be a similar filter in Photoshop... some that makes your picture look like a newsprint picture that consists of many dots, ya know? I hope it's understandable.

Ooooh! It does make sense and I am ASHAMED I didn't realize it was the filter-distort thing. I should really know Photoshop by now (because yes there is something similar on there x3).

I think I'll play with this tonight...I should finish my school esssay but who cares about that right!?!?!?

I used KDE Gimp (which I hate). But some text I added later on with Photoshop 7 because I actually suck at Gimp and find it easier working with Photoshop.
