"Home" again, if you could call it that. I suppose one advantage to this summer versus the summers past is that I can now use magic, but with the nuns fretting about so much, I have to be extra careful. What I need to do is designate a day that I can walk about London and try to find a space where I can go to study my textbooks in peace. Does ( Read more... )

Er, it's a convent in London... the Tyburn convent. They don't typically take in children, but I've been helping them every summer since starting Hogwarts in exchange for lodging, and they've always been more than happy to have me around.

They're a bit strict though, I'm sure you can imagine... And, ehm, they don't exactly know I'm a wizard.

Oh, I think I know a small tea shop near the station, I go there sometimes during the holidays. I can tell you directions if you like Justin...um, if you can get back to your journal.

Don't worry; I managed to hide it before anyone saw it yet again, heh.

That'd actually be great if you don't mind, Tsubaki. Directions, and perhaps a drink recommendation...? If I'm going to be staying there for lengthy amounts of time, I imagine they'll want me to at least be a paying customer.

Glad you managed to avoid it getting found.

Well yes I imagine so, and with the weather getting warmer a drink might be needed. It shouldn't be too hard to find from the station. You just walk out through the side exit and head down the street until you find an alley in between a pet shop and a hair salon. Muggles can't see it of course but if you walk down the alleyway you'll come to a dead end wall with a red door. Just go inside, it's a pretty quiet little place. Personally for the summer I like the fruit flavoured froth drinks since they're chilled already and you can have mini fruits as sprinkles on the creme on top, which you can eat with spoon while using a straw for the drink underneath.
