Title: Consonance Author: viceindustrious For: anneka_neko Rating: NC-17 Summary: Today is a day for indulgence and so, Blackwood thinks, it should be wrapped in silk like any proper treasure.
THAT WAS SO FUCKIN' INCREDIBLE I JUST I JUST I JUST I CANNOT EVEN I THERE ARE NO WORDS THERE WILL NEVER BE WORDS THERE CANNOT BE WORDS WORDS ARE INCAPABLE!
Coward makes a humming noise, a purr really and stretches lazily in his bonds. Not nearly so pretty, but that little stretch of gleeful pleasure is exactly what I did. Mmmmmm. Talk about making my day.
Today is a day for indulgence and so, Blackwood thinks, it should be wrapped in silk like any proper treasure. That's what I love best about this. It's all indulgence, indulging the reader, indulging Coward, indulging Blackwood - there's just such a sense of Blackwood just reacting to the utter deliciousness of Coward. It doesn't feel like he's planned any of this out, like he's try to make it mean anything. He's just enjoying himself, and enjoying that Coward enjoys it. Nom.
Coward had stirred Banter! Eeee! And then, slipped in there all subtle like, they'll have her on the altar
I adore all the little touches Blackwood's giving, these small, casual things like he can't quite help himself, like he can't quite keep his hands off Coward for any length of time. Who can blame him? Ah, it's gorgeous.
You know it just made my day when I read this comment the first time because, I made you happy! That gave me all warm and fuzzy thoughts, seriously, what with all the angst? It's a novel sensation! Something happy with none of the bitter.
First keyboardsmash ever. Because, really. I have no words to express the amazing-ness of this.
"Coward had stirred just long enough to call him a barbarian for taking milk instead of lemon before flipping his pillow over onto the cool side and drifting back into a doze."
Oh, and this? LOVE. Like, this much *spreads arms as wide as they go*
*grins like an idiot* Ha! I love that you love that line. That is my favourite bit because, seriously, who doesn't want to listen to Blackwood and Coward being snarky about tea!
