Preferred rating: Naturally I have a hard soft spot for utterly filthy, depraved and obscene NC-17 rated fic. On the other hand, I also really enjoy G - PG-13 rated fics that explore a relationship. Maybe you could even write something filthy, depraved and PG-13 if you don't feel comfortable with higher ratings.
