Wow! It's good to hear from you! It sounds like you're /really/ busy... And learning to cook can be, ehh, hard at best (helpful hint: if something comes out burnt or bad--just add ketchup. It makes EVERYTHING taste better). But, it's great to hear that you're looking after yourself! That takes some serious dedication, and it sounds like you're really rising to the occasion!
On a COMPLETELY different note, here's two download links to songs that I thought you might like, in case you wanted to try them out (I know you like V for Vendetta, but I'm not sure how much you like Alan Moore in particular ^_^; Hope you enjoy them!)
It appears we will all have our times of lament, and only moreso as we look back and see our tracks in the sand. Sand is fine, and takes all impression, whatever the mode of our step might be, be it a stagger, a stride, or a casual saunter. In my own times, I am glad to know that I have a remaining sense of unrestfulness over my condition - a track-rut is as easily a guiding course as a point of light. One succumbs to and is dependent on gravity, the other is a limit of vision. Keep to your stories, be they writ here, or merely the small tales of the day. So long as one sees difference in the matter of normalcy, the small purturbations will lend texture to the day. A perfect mirror does not show you inconsistencies in it's surface. ... That, and such tangents as I tend to go on lend themselves well to concealing one's written efforts in public; the cloak (and optional dagger) work well when about among prying eyes.
One shouldn't ever feel that their words are unimportant.
I, ah... well, I just finished reading Das Wandern over at FFNet, and as you had this thing linked in your profile and most of my fandom driftings take place in and around Livejournal anyway... and I know it's an old fic, but... what I'm trying to say is that you made staying up until almost six AM to read a fic written for a game with a near-dead fandom worth it by being so damned good at stringing words together. I don't know if you'll even read this, but... from someone who's got a slew of issues with mortality in general, let alone the whole death bit, thank you for writing that.
Already done, as you've evidently noticed! My journal's just about equal parts angst, fandom-related stuff, and ramblings about my life, just to warn you....
I'm... well, I go by Molly around these parts, but my name's really Jane. Hi!
