Jay moved to her side and nodded, kissing her temple in a friendly manner. "I remember, babe. I think it was that new album of theirs that came out 'round then...""Black Gives Way To Blue." Nico chimed in from behind them. Shrugging, he moved to Selene's other side as he stared at the display of four meat hooks, still stained with the Master's dried blood. "I've actually checked out that album." He paused, kissing his fingertips with a grin, eyes never leaving the display. "Magnifico, lemme tell ya

Jay just nodded, then clapped Nico on the shoulder as if the two had known each other for years.

"Right...not a problem, Selene dear. Easy does 'er, T, I don't think she even went the battery-operated route after you."

Before Nico could even respond to that, the older man walked off, tossing his too-long snow-white hair in a fashion that was familiar in the way it annoyed him...but he just couldn't place it.

Turning back to Selene, Nico laughed a little nervously but recovered quickly as he tossed his hair out of his eyes. "Uh...Torture Cell. Right, yeah, I'd love that like you don't even know. That's the one the Avatar used in his one-off debut, yeah? The show this masquerade thing's based on and shit?"

Peering in over Selene's shoulder, Nico caught sight of her and felt another wash of gut-checked, heartwrenching emotion flood him with no real memory to connect it to. He just saw her and felt that whisper in his blood...mine.

"Probably since she got me in tow, bella."

Aggie glanced past her mother and stilled. Glancing back at Selene, her gaze moved again to Nico as she slowly rose from her chair to move towards him.

"I knew it." she whispered, her speed growing as she rushed them and flung herself into Nico's arms with a bear hug. "I knew it, I knew it when Tito shaved, I just *knew* it had to be you!!..."

Laughing, Nico hugged her warmly, swinging her in a circle. Holding her felt good, felt right. "It's still a mess, but I know my baby girl, bella."

"Of course you do." Aggie beamed, drawing back to smile at her mother as she burrowed against Nico gleefully. "Mom! Can you *believe* it?!"

"Lucky enough? Three more months." he replied with a grin, still hanging onto Aggie, who wasn't complaining. "The show got picked up for the full season, so we're shootin' four more scripts for a sixteen ep run. Then I go back to Manhattan and start hittin' the boards for a bit. I'd fuckin' kill to do some Broadway...whoops, sorry, Ag."

"Pfft. You cursed worse when I was growing up. Mom still does when she's really mad."

"Of course she does, I taught her." he bragged with a laugh, then slowly sobered. "No...not me, not all of it. There was a guy we hung with...he had a twin brother..." He trailed off, blinked, then looked over his shoulder and back at Selene. "Holy...Selene? Was that him? Downstairs, that old guy...was that Jay Kellar?!"
