I came in this morning to a dead computer. Much of the stuff is probably recoverable, and the new-to-me they gave me is much much faster. The only problem is that nothing is in the right place and I don't have all my 'things' yet and the font size is wrong, etc ( Read more... )

It was the Jets that the Patriots were caught cheating on... this year. In the past, it's been every other team that they competed against in the Superbowl (RAMS had their walkthrough practice taped, Rodney Harrison was shot up with HGH before another game, and so forth). I'm sure if they didn't cheat against the Giants, it was only because there's so much pressure on them right now.

Oh, the JETS! I was close. I think the Pats should have gotten in way worse trouble with the league than they did. Not legal trouble or anything; not anything for members of Congress to get their boxers in a bunch over--but something.

Sen. Arlen Spector is trying to get a suit of some kind against them and/or the NFL because the tapes from 2006 were DESTROYED after the NFL viewed them and there hasn't been much research into the other allegations. I think the team needs to be deeply, deeply investigated, and any other team that might be cheating as well. I'd love to actually be able to watch football and not think "wow, so-and-so could've made it to the Superbowl if these jerks hadn't been cheating".

Thus... why I rooted against the Pats. That, and if the Giants were gonna take my Packers out, they BETTER win the thing.

oh oh oh do I hate it when I'm working on a computer not set the way I want it, totally drives me crazy.

I assume this is a work computer and you didn't lose files on your own?

i really need to get off the internet and into the shower. i hate morning.s

Yes, work computer, so nothing important was lost. Oh except my bookmarks. And adding printers is a pain, and...and..and...

Rawr.

I hate mornings too. And I have to be at work at 6am 3 days a week.

i jsut realized the USB port on the front of the computer doesn't work. there is no way i'm returning it after all the set up I did just for that, this blows, i'm using all the ones in the back.

i'm 9-6 thank god.

Also, my IT guy is hot, so there's that. And not 'hot for an IT guy' hot, but actual hot hot.
