Ohkay. So.

Everyone wants experience before they'll hire you. But if no one will hire the unexperienced, how are they supposed to get this required experience? You'd think that after a while all those experienced people would be busy so that employers would have to open the doors to novices... but noooOOOooo. My friend Curtis works here: http://www.manningproductions.com/_sites/v4/index.php Last time I talked to him about work (about 6 months ago), they had need for graphic designers. Might be worth following up on.

Not that it's got any extremely hot leads, but you might want to try looking at the National Association of Independent Schools. There are a few in Chicago that were hiring the last time I checked (about ten minutes ago, and 13 positions of varying types). http://careers.nais.org/search/results/index.cfm I'm sure they're not all open still, but it's worth a try.
