The population here isn't always steady, so information about previous events wouldn't be remembered as easily compared to a city who's residents don't flow through like this.

There are plenty who haven't gone anywhere. When they can switch their complaining so easily from one thing to the next without a second glance, it becomes willful ignorance.

It's like the news back home, one thing after another for a couple days until it's forgotten. In other words, monster attacking is just yesterday's news.

It's no surprise this place does the same.
