"Hurt Locker"?...Really?

How in the world did "Hurt Locker" win everything at the Oscar's this year? That was so painfully boring and pointless.

I really liked it. I thought it was a really tight exercise in craft (I was on the edge of my seat the whole time), and the overall point of war functioning as a drug or a high for some people was really fascinating to me.

Yeah, see, I didn't get the whole war as a drug thing. I looked for it, but really didn't get it. It wasn't terrible, I just don't see how it won everything.
