Because I decided I need to start writing down all the little leather working things I wish I'd known when I started, and because I really need to update my LJ more often, I'm going to start tossing out random leather working tips I've picked up every now and again

A handy hint indeed... do you want to add my Clam of Knowledge (not good enough to be a Pearl of Wisdom):

"Don't pull a needle, through leather, using your teeth - it chips them, and you end up with tailors tooth" x-)

I actually found the temp in my office did exactly the same - and to the same tooth as me!
