Among all of the interesting topics he touched upon last night, one that really caught my eye was his view on fallback plans. Hmm, he makes a good point. But I think that everyone made a backup plan because that really is what you are told to do. The generation older than ours was so used to things just not working out that they spoon fed us the "IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK! HAVE A DIFFERENT (WE ACTUALLY MEAN BETTER) PLAN!!"

Thinking about it that way, I can totally see that. I guess its their way to trying to make sure we don't fall flat on our faces later in life :D; It just doesn't help much.
