A/N: For the current challenge, tantalize. This is only a piece of a bigger project (a Harry Potter crossover, no less. Don't laugh. I'm deadly serious about making crossovers more serious than cracky). There are no HP references in this part. But I seem to be at a standstill with writing it. This opener was too intriguing to keep to myself and it works as a stand alone, so I hope you all are "tantalized" by what I have to offer. Comments are love.
