Colours of Autumn
"It's sad to see those leaves have to change colours..." Aoi sighs, staring at the tree leaves above him. He hears a chuckle behind him and a kiss on his neck.
"This is coming from a man whose favourite season is autumn," Kenzo says, sitting behind his lover while his arms are wrapped around Aoi's waist.
Everyone has a special tree, especially for couples. Some even carve their names and a heart to put down a memory forever by the tree that they have chosen. Kenzo thinks it's ridiculous, more so when you consider those breakups that can make people regret it in the future when they look back at the tree that they have carved their declared love.
But this tree that they have declared to be special and memorable is, fortunately, unharmed by anything other than some cut branches. To both men, they find it better to just leave it as it is. The other reason is because both of them don’t know how to carve on bark.
"It's already starting to change colours. Then its leaves will fall down," Aoi argues.
"And we collect it all together to form a small hill and jump into it."
"And make a mess out of ourselves."
"And do it again."
"You're actually serious about doing something as childish as that?" Aoi asks, raising his eyebrow.
"Yes," Kenzo answers confidently. "And we'll have roasted sweet potatoes to end the day of fun."
Aoi laughs out loud before settling back to the drummer's chest.
"I can't wait for autumn to come and make the leaves change colour."
"Me too."

A/N: I've been resting for a while now because I've been distracted as to what I have to do in my life right now. So far it's calming down, but at the same time I have to anticipate on what's coming in the following weeks.
While summer is ending and autumn is beginning for others, it's still sweltering hot in Malaysia and I am craving for some teh tarik with ice.... And cold sweet treats to cool me off... Yum...
