Yes! Why? Because you'll be able to make lots of money later!

BTW, where is that med school?

You'll be enjoying the nice weather in December while we're stuck in the lousy Canadian winter. xp

I will repeat that mantra until I do so, or die, or go bankrupt.

Usually best not to consider these things.

which med school?

as i'm nearing graduation, where i'm graduating with twice the debt that i would have had, if i had gone to a different (less prestigious?) school, i'm wondering if it really was worth it. because, in the end, you either get the piece of paper with the title on it, or you don't, right?

sorry, sorry, just bitter because i like money...

SGU--problem is, that's the only school I got into--it's totally not about name for me, it's about getting the MD.

I wish I could have gotten into a Canadian school--50K is a much better sounding number than 300.

The Columbia year didn't help any, either.

Trust me, I am just as bitter. Debt is a horrible, horrible thing. Oh well, I suppose doctors and lawyers are expected to make enough bank to not drown in debt, I guess :P

Wow what a big chunk of money. Now you can't afford to mess up any courses!
Just curious, do you have a specialization in mind yet?

I'm torn--my two loves are OB/GYN and sports.

I'd love to do the physiatry (or Ortho) residency then the sports fellowship... but I think there's more potential to help out in doctors without borders or just in underserved regions as an OB/GYN.

I'll have to really try and figure out which ones I'm more passionate about.
