When Blaine said he only had one beer, Kurt's response (a little muffled, as Chris was not facing the mic) was an ironic, "Sure you did." I took that as a sign that Blaine had had way more than one beer, and that Kurt, having been sober and observant all the time, was entirely aware of that.

Still, I love this story, particularly how Blaine had known Kurt was following him home, and the bit about Kurt being a terrible, terrible spy. ^__^

Thank you :) I actually watched this episode at like 3am and then got up again at 7 to go to work, and then wrote this at work and came home and watched the episode again before I posted it just in case there was anything horrifically inaccurate, or you know, I'd dreamed the entire thing. And when I watched it again I did pick up on a mumble from Chris, though I didn't manage to figure out what the words were like you did but I assumed it would be something along those lines ( ... )

I believe it happened that way unless they tell us otherwise!

And even then I'd still question whether theirs made more sense than mine. ;)

I love this reaction/missing scene. I think we all think he followed him home. lol

Seriously, he must have done! Or looked out for him in some other way, or gone after him and forced him to get into the car even if he didn't want to talk to him.

I was wondering about the possibility of Sebastian being sneaky with the beer. I'm glad someone else thought about it, too. It's like you wrote the story just for me. Thanks!

he knew the instant he read his message that everything was going to be okay.

Oh, me too! I just loved this, and it was a seamless segueway for the two scenes! Nice job!

Thank you :)

I just couldn't stand the thought that Kurt would let Blaine go on stage for the show without talking to him (if only so that Blaine could give his best performance possible without his mind being on how things were with Kurt), or that Blaine would do the show without finding Kurt to apologise. But a couple of messages exchanged would let them both know things were going to be okay but they just needed some time, and it would make sense that Kurt would be the one to come find Blaine after the play, then.
