Love me some well-written scenes, and this sure is one. And if we are being honest, we all imagine that something like this could be happening, considering Neil's cumulating gigs (I've written a similar story a few days ago, actually), sooo, why not write it down?

Hehe, my RPF side doesn't raise its head very often, but for some reason with Neil and David its quite happy to! I think it's because they keep their private moments and affection to themselves so my brain likes to imagine what might be going on behind those doors :D

I'm glad you liked it! I had to tell idioticonion that I had started a fic to make sure I would finish it - if I say out loud/in writing that it's happening, I feel more obliged to continue! I've been rubbish with finishing fics lately so I'm glad I finally got one out! :)

Just beautiful! I love how David cares so much, and worries so much, and I love his klutzy attempt to get to the phone at the start.

It amuses me that even though Neil was doing The Cube (which presumably meant at least some time rehearsing?) he still seemed to be out gallivanting in London with Derren Brown at night and stuff. He just seems like the kind of guy who can't slow down ever, whether he's working or not!

I know what you mean about his gallivanting! All I can think is that at least he did say during the taping that he'd spent a lot of time in the hotel room watching the English version over the week, getting to know the games etc, so at least he must have spent SOME time at least semi relaxing. Even if he was making notes or whatever.

See now I find myself wanting to write that!

I loved it!
And I loved the phone part too it was legen-...wait for it...-DARY! so cute =)
and the way David worries/cares about Neil was just awesome.
