Fresh Peonies

First time in two years I've painted these, since last year I kind of got diagnosed with lung cancer just before they started blooming. In the Pink, 16" x 22" oil on linen, sold before I even finished it! Click the image to enlarge; it's a fairly big file, so may take a moment to load.

I am so sorry to hear you have cancer--but thrilled that your latest scan is clean. How are you doing? I haven't been on LJ in ages, which is why I didn't know you were sick.
Glad to see you are creating gorgeous works of art--those peonies are amazing!
