I didn't write this as fast as it might seem. It was a mostly-finished draft from months ago. Stumbled on it while updating my fic index last night, and surprised myself by realizing how it ended.
I think Tucker absolutely does not understand House and Wilson's loyalty to each other because he isn't capable of that kind of thing himself.

It's weird to write in Tucker's POV because in order to do it I have to sort of believe him for a while. And he's so full of shit. He seems a lot nicer than House but he's clearly got no moral compass at all, no convictions.
I really don't think Wilson, in canon, ever intends to talk to him again.

To write in someone's POV you have to be really inside them. I wouldn't have been able to do it, because "he's so full of shit" and so inside him, it stinks. Thanks for holding your breath long enough to give us this fic (and yay to House exacting revenge!).

Yes. Yes they do.
Is it very evil of me to be glad that House was willing to stoop to a little Tucker-torture knowing that Wilson never would?

And I am still happy to see you. I need to go see if you've posted anything I've missed while I've been away.

--That comment is as good as the fic!
I had to chuckle at the reference to the PCA button. After all the fuss this season, I keep thinking, People's Choice Award.

It's easy to forget that House really can be a scary, scary dude sometimes. What's interesting is, I think Tucker was unsettled less by the implied threat of violence than by the emotion behind it. That depth of caring for another person is so foreign to Tucker that he thinks it's complete insanity.
