Well played -> I like those, like you, who are smart enough to think "Hhhhmmm, why not just do the whole thing all at once?!" I say this especially since I started doing this meme nearly 2 months ago, and now still have the last two to go.
I like your comparison between Dean/Lisa and Sam/Jess. Also, I don't remember if I've seen this Sammy Song vid or not, so do re-upload it somehow if you can!
It's so much more fun to fly by the seat of my pants sometimes (as they are quite large when the fly is left open).
Our internets are died until at least Tuesday night at home because our router was four years and decided that the last 5 minutes of Ghost Writer on pay per view was an excellent time to expire. I have it on hard drive and will upload forthwith and post haste and all that jazz hands.
Out of curiosity, how was Are you there God... supposed to go down? I haven't come across any discussion of that.
I also would have far preferred that Sam had saved Dean from Hell even though it would have turned him dark. At least he would have turned dark before my eyes as opposed to sometime over the summer and we'll never see the details.
Out of curiosity, how was Are you there God... supposed to go down? I haven't come across any discussion of that. Um, on a high level? As I understood it, it was supposed to be more of a synopsis of Dean's arc for the season, how he begins to polarize family loyalty from family duty, how not being able to save him affected Sam, and how he goes about saving Samthe world with choice and faith and love as opposed to the destiny of being Heaven's tactical bacon. As it was, it got lost in the reflection of the other characters (some of which were substituted for the characters they'd originally wanted due to actor availability; one being that Jess was supposed to haunt Sam). By the end of it, I felt like Dean's reactions to the Witnesses were all but lost under the metaphorical anvils. There were simply too many examples and it lessened the dramatic impact that the haunting was for. This was, of course, before production conceeded that staying smaller with the apocalypse would work better in SPN-land. I don't normally hack an episode down

Survey says that you will see it somewhat. *duck lips*Now I don't know how I feel. If you are hinting that we will get flashbacks, or even Sam telling us what actually happened to him while Dean was in Hell, then Hallelujah
( ... )
This is all amazing and totally marinated in awesomesauce (of COURSE you're like Papa John. With less scruff) but the part I like best is where guns look like ass lightning and the Impala runs on thunder.
Hey, I never said my brain made sense.
*smishes you madly* I wants to VISIT YOU! Some day when I has money again. *sighh* I'll soon be in Broke-land because I'm about to head out on an epic 8-day road trip, A Woman And Her Dog Go to Visit the Parents. And stuff. Pray for me. ;)
You are!? Awesome! I will pray that you have a delicious time wandering the highways with your pups. Ah, roadtrips. Coming up on needin' another one myself. Have fun with the journey and enjoy the pit stops. Take pictures. And fer gawd, MAKE IT DOWN HERE SOMETIME when it's not 110 degrees everyday.
Why, I AM Supernatural related. Well played on that last question.
Day 24 - An episode you wish never happened I would like to put the rewind on Are You There God, It's Me, Dean Winchester. They had to change it so much, I think the plotty, moral concept got lost under the lace curtains somewhere. Also DALDOM, but ONLY the scene when Ron Howard's evil twin took the friggin spotlights off the friggin car and that's just friggin denied. SON, I AM DISAPPOINT.
Oh hush, Jared. We all know why you *really* didn't like that episode. *snerk*
PS - I watched The Sammy Song last night on youtube. I think you are of da crazies.
Also, half of these answers are lies, LIES!!1! but I'm honored that you tried so hard not to copy me. :P
Okayyyy...I'm only gonna say this once, but it will be a begging speech, with lots of groveling, sobbing and drooling (I will bring my own towels though)....PLEASE!! I WANT YOUR ICONS!! I HAVE STROLLED THROUGH YOUR LJ AND IT MADE ME DROOL AND CRY AND WANT TO DANCE!! PLLLEEEAASSSSSEEE?!?!?!?!?

Yes, the absence of 110 degrees is an absolute must.
