Oh, the humanity... where did it go?

I think I'm having a delayed reaction. It's like... delirious laughter followed by silent frowning. LOL. I might elaborate later once I divest myself of the dark thoughts from the last few days and conjure up something more coherent, but in the meantime, have a lovely poem that is making me smile. ( I adore Kipling's words and these are perfect for what I'm thinking about right now. )

I am trying to make dark-thoughts-divestion a regular thing. Life's too short for wank and dark thoughts.

And pome! I LOVE THIS POME! I do! It's one of my faves of all time, evar. Goes right along with Roosevelt's "It's Not the Critic Who Counts" quote. :-)

Also? I has downloaded mp3 of "Eye of the Tiger." It rocks. Hard. I may have to fling myself across the seat of my truck and flail to it. *G*
