How many times have I seen this friggin' episode?...
... and yet, I still catch something I hadn't noticed before. Like tonight. I'm sure some of you smart peeps figured this out a long time ago. But about two hours ago, my ass actually left the couch as I gestured wildly at the tv and exclaimed my utter awe at HOLY CRAP, THIS SHOW TOTALLY DOES THIS ON PURPOSE.
In Salvation, Jim Murphy runs down the stairs and barricades himself in, panicking and ... looking for something to defend himself with against Meg. Something... SPECIFIC. I never realized HOW specific until tonight when I wasn't panicking as much as he was, for once, and I noticed that he found THIS and gripped it with determination, like it was the only thing he knew of that had the slightest chance of working.
OH, THIS FEELS FAMILIAR NOW...
