Not sure what kind of books you like but i'll reccomend two:
The Queen's Fool by Philippa Gregory
(A young woman caught in the rivalry between Queen Mary and her half sister, Elizabeth, must find her true destiny amid treason, poisonous rivalries, loss of faith, and unrequited love.)
To kill a Mockingbird - you made have read it but i heart this book.
