The Internet: through it, we have all the information of the world at our fingertips. For the first time, the global human population has the potential to be a community.
So why do I feel, more than ever, the exclusivity of cliques?

My post was more about how access becomes more exclusive when a lot of something is available; in this case, information. Exclusion and inflation of importance seem to be natural reactions to sift out the crap from the gold, and to weed out the casual or opportunistic users from the genuine. Like, knowing the "good" sites for software or pirated shows; needing an insider to get you an invite; trying to make your name on an established forum; jargon or inside jokes.
I wrote the post while sitting in front of my computer, a vast compendium at my fingertips, and realizing I didn't have any websites to go to, even though I could have looked up anything. It was sad, lol

No my attention span is not in good working condition. : P Too much multi-tasking at work.. it's like juggling all the time. Instead of social butterfly, it's like concentration butterfly - flitting from one thing to another @_@)
lol, I like the Socially Awkward Penguin meme. And "doge". xD
This was after I was burned out on Imgur, so I didn't even look up cute kitties! D:!!
