Thank you for finishing this terrific story. I have enjoyed it immensely, and you introduced me to the wonderful Laurell Hamilton, whose series of Anita Blake & Merry Gentry I now own.

thank you for sticking w/ it! i'll be interested to know what you think of both series -- i've become partial to the Gentry series. there's SO many fascinating and sexy fandoms w/ not enough options for pairing strong, impressive, complex, female characters, that it seems natural to me to try and imagine a 'world' where they could cross paths. thank you for taking the time out to let me know you enjoyed it

I'm also more partial to the Gentry series, it just has so many interesting characters. It will be interesting to see where Laurell takes them from here.

I am a long time fan of both the Blake and Gentry series however, after your wonderfully entertaining story, they pale (especially Anita Blake) in comparison...gee, thanks.

WOW! i wanted to give one of my favorite fictional series a bit more... diverse female kick-ass-heroines and a bit more queerness. Hamilton seems a lil' "gun-shy" about introducing those kinds of characters. so my muse decided that the unlikely world of DWP would be a good candidate to help this process along.

Even ignorant of the fandoms I really enjoyed this, you did a marvelous job of bringing the characters to life!

It's always bittersweet to finish a long story like this one, but you can rest assured that your readers enjoyed it very much indeed.

i worried that i incorporated too many details but i really wanted to make sure that those unfamiliar to the fandoms would still be able to enjoy it. that was my hope anyways.

and yes, i've been working on the fic for a while -- my first foray into writing an actual fic. so any feelings of possessiveness were alleviated by actually finishing it.

however it's been the impetus to keep writing. it means a lot that you've enjoyed it and your feedback was crucial. thank you.

so it means a lot that you've enjoyed the fic (i LOVE your fics by the way). i can "see the finish line" for my DWP/Damages fic so hopefully that'll peak your interest. as for Hamilton's series: i'm definitely partial to the Gentry series. although in Anita Blakes' earlier books she faced some pretty bad hombres, along w/ some great fight scenes that made her pretty impressive. nevertheless, i think you'll enjoy either series.
