The Time Traveller's Wife is one of my favorites, as well. The only person I have ever met who didn't like it was someone who historically does not like things referencing her past as "the past." Other than the cultural references, which made her feel old, she still had to grudgingly admit that she liked it. I am not aware of you having any such hang-ups.

Man, I would pay many internet dollars to see Lily Allen in concert. A+++.

Did you get all three of the "His Dark Materials" books or just The Golden Compass? I hope you got all three! SOOO Good. :)

I've heard nothing but raves about this book, and I'm eager to read it, especially as Briel says it's one of her favorites.

Yeah, I'd totally recommend that - it made me cry ;)
