And I used to be addicted to soaps like Pookie on the pipe.
There is lots and lots (and lots and lots) of racism all over the (dying) industry, from the front office to the writers' room. And don't even start about Victoria Rowell on Y&R and they way they dogged her. I used to love Michelle Stafford and Melody Thomas-Scott until I found out what they did and said.
I always wonder what Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams' experiences have been in Daytime, as I've thought they were the ONLY Black characters on soaps that have been treated with any sense and respect.
