I think The Reason is that he went off his meds again.
Seriously, this is some highly odd behavior behind some other highly odd behavior. I think he has a serious mental illness that requires medication to not act out and he ain't on it. Guess he was on it most of the year cuz there was no news.

I agree. He likely went off his meds. That smile is not normal. The behavior is odd and uncharacteristic. I hope he has someone in his life that will step in and help him regain stability.
