Tyler Perry is telling the same story over and over and over again.

"Oh woe is me, I'm a single/abused/confused black woman who needs the love of God and a good black man to set me straight!"

It's the same story over and over again. And it's not even like he's doing anything "new". All of these movies were plays before they were films.
