[Well, it took a couple of days before he got his journal back, but thankfully they do have that rather annoying habit of returning to their owners when destroyed and obviously when taken by force too. Good thing, because he's rather stuck in the tunnels after this threadWell, Yuber is going to go ahead and write a message to one person who should ( Read more... )

[Well. That's... not what ν-13 was expecting to see when checking the journal. Not at all.

...There's a lot she could say in response to that. Like asking where the heck he is, or why he'd settle for a written message when he normally avoids these, or what that last sentence's about. But instead?

She's just going to go with a short response for now.]

What is it? [He did write that she should respond as soon as she can, so... She'll try to save the questions for later, even if they are kind of bothering her.]

[He'll get to that, he just wanted to know first off if she was even back in Luceti, since she had been missing also.]

Good, you're back. I'm stuck in the tunnels right now and need someone to get me out.

[And it's likely obvious "stuck in the tunnels" is a euphemism for being in the jail.]

[There's... going to be a bit of a delay before she responds again. Like she's not entirely sure what to make of that.]

...Huh? [It's easy for her to tell what he means, considering she's been stuck there before as well, but it's... still kind of unexpected for her. How in the world did he of all people manage to get caught...?]

It's best explained once I'm out of here. [Because well, he's not writing that much, and may as well give her a chance to do whatever slapping she wants, because he'll admit he screwed up.] This just isn't the place for one like me.

All right. [She can figure as much. The tunnels aren't really all that healthy for people like the two of them, after all.]

Um... I'll try to help, but...

[She doesn't actually add anything else to her response. For once, she's genuinely not sure what to do - she wants to do something to help him get out of there, but frankly, there's not much she can do on her own in the tunnels considering she can barely even walk there.]

I know you can't do much in the tunnels, but what about those friends of yours from your world? If they won't do, then try and talk to Caesar or Albert Silverberg.

[And that's likely a broad hint that one of the two Silverbergs not only knows Yuber, but would have a reason to assist him. True, Caesar would be more likely to help so nothing happens to Albert, but either of them would have a vested interest in this.]

I guess I can ask them... [That's just two people, unfortunately, but maybe at least one of them could help. ...Probably Tsubaki, all things considered.

It'll take her a bit longer to respond to the other part of his message; almost like she's not really sure what to make of it just yet.]

...The Silverbergs? Why them? [She knows about them, of course, but she's never actually interacted with either of them; she's seen one of the two around, but that's it. And a stranger contacting them about something like this seems like something that probably wouldn't work out too well.]

I'm well known to them. An ancestor of theirs was a previous summoner of mine, and they both will know what the tunnels would do to me. [And Albert is likely already aware to a degree of what is going on, since their connection cuts out when either of them go into the tunnels.]

[Ah, that's right. They're from the same world as him. Ted told her as much before, didn't he? So then... huh.]

I see... Then, I guess I'll ask them, too. [Having more options can't hurt, just in case neither of the two she has in mind will be able to help.

She just... needs to figure out how she's going to contact them.

...This would be easier if they weren't total strangers to her.]

They both live in house 42. If you hang around the area, you are bound to see one or both of them. They stick out in a crowd with that red hair of theirs. Just don't mention me to them where others can hear.

[House 42, huh? b knows where that one is, fortunately. Close to Community Building 7... kind of conveient, really.]

Don't worry. I won't do that. [That would be far too risky. Both for them and for her.

After another moment, though, she quickly adds the following:]

...You'll be fine for a little longer, right?

I can wait a few more days. I'll be bored senseless, but I'll live. [It's just getting past a week that may become problematic, since he's much farther beyond a regular lifespan, and it may well have a lasting effect to go that long in there.]

All right. [That's good to hear. So she's got a bit of time to organize this, at least.

... ] Don't worry. I'll definitely get you out of there soon~ ♡

[She's mostly just trying to be reassuring, but she really does mean it. The girl's surprisingly determined about this, even if she's still not quite sure how to accomplish this. It'll be much easier if she can really get someone to help out, though.]

[Hey, at least this time he did ask for Nu's help, if she can't do it, he did make the attempt and can't complain if he has to take a more drastic measure.]

I'm sure you will. If anything, it seems you got lucky to have been taken during the worst of that experiment.

[Yeah, he's totally not going to mention yet how bad that got.]

[True. And the fact he asked is no doubt a good thing; it'll definitely save him some trouble with her.]

Yeah. I didn't hear much about it, but... It really didn't sound good. [And that's just going off of what Ted told her.

...Ironically, though, she still doesn't remember being taken - it's pretty obvious that this is likely what happened, but she honestly can't recall it happening. Then again, she's having trouble remembering the weekend in general, so... that's not too surprising.]

It got really bad after you disappeared. This wouldn't have happened otherwise.
