Just a warning to all you idiots out there. The next one of you pathetic humans who ends up in the desert will find out firsthand that the dead do come back in a week.

And I'll enjoy every moment of it.

[And yeah, Yuber is in the desert for the moment, he's been meaning to check out the ruins for himself for some time and is just getting around ( Read more... )

Oh gee, you're too kind.

["Begone, evil demon, begone, and etc." He's a very good priest like that.]

No human is innocent. They merely do not wish to acknowledge that there are creatures far stronger than them who consider them prey and they seem fit to decide who lives and who dies themselves.

Don't be an idiot. This place is made up of hundreds of different worlds, from all over. No matter what your stance was in your world, it's doesn't mean squat here.

Yet most of the humans think exactly like that. It would seems humans from different worlds aren't all that different after all.

Why this place even has a war the humans want me to fight in like mine does.

After a while, don't you start noticing you're a minority? If you're really such a superior race, get a hold of the Malnosso and make them let you go.

Why should I aid any of you humans when being here accomplishes my goals also?

No one stays dead here. Your excuse of easing humankind's misery by killing them is nothing now.

In the end you're just making them suffer, only to have them return. Maybe you're just a monster who enjoys murdering people for no reason, and cowardly hide behind this idea of 'peace' in death.

Do you even know what our presence here does to our worlds? And truly, even one week without suffering is a boon to these humans.

Yes, because horribly impaling someone and then giving them a cute week of rest is really comforting.

A stab to the heart is one of the quickest ways to go. Yet the humans think that consigning someone to a slow and painful and truly horrible demise is a just punishment.

[Actually, that is pretty true to a certain degree, though Wolfwood's always made it a point to swiftly murder people before they can really suffer.]

Are you speaking from experience, then?

They place "criminals" in cells in the tunnels. They think it humane to leave them there to basically die. I'd much rather they stab me and get it over with.

Huh. Maybe you shouldn't be a criminal.

[If you gonna be a sinner, may as well go all out, right?] Hah, with how many humans here attack me for merely existing the only way I wouldn't be a criminal is if I let them kill me, and then I'd have died more times than I could count by now. There are people who should be declared as dangerous and instead the humans do nothing about them.

Like that idiot in the armor who threatened everyone a few weeks back. He attacks me every time he sees me from the first time we met. [Yep, talking about Kain, that's an idiot who needs to be added to the villains list and would be deserving of it.]

[Well, he's not much for the typical idea of sinners, all things considered.]

Then fix your problem. Start cooperating with humans and stop killing them, and maybe you wouldn't have a problem getting them to take note of people attacking you.

Otherwise, when you alienate yourself from so many residence, you'd better expect none of them to care when someone's dishing out the violence in your direction for once.

That's your problem. You are assuming I am like you humans. I'm not. [Yeah, he actually has a requirement to attack humans to be able to live. The fact that so many attack him or can be induced into attacking him is rather helpful at times, unless he's trapped in a small area like Luceti.

But at this point, demon is shutting the journal, because Wolfwood is coming too close to something the demon doesn't like speaking of to anyone who isn't his summoner.]
