Stage a counter-protest holding cards up with images of childbirth, and all the lovely shit like torn vaginas and defacation and body fluids...or how about corpses of women who have died in childbirth, babies born without brains or with their hearts outside of their body, or, ya know, ORPHANS.
Fuck those people.

believe me, I could think up some weird shit, and they still have me beat on being weird. They have one picture they put up somewhere that says on the first third of the picture, "ungentile" and its a picture of dead jewish people from a concentration camp, the second thrid is a hanged black man, saying undeneath it, "unwhite" and the last is a aborted fetus that says, "unborn". Now how can you even compare these things??
I can't let myself get started... I'll ruin my day.

Well, you know as soon as you play the Hitler Card you win. Idiots.
How about the same sequence, but with the third image being a pregnant thirteen year old rape victim with the caption 'un-male'.

That actually isn't a bad idea. Do we know what group does the trucking?

Philosophically, I am pro-life.
Practically, I'm pro-choice, given that it isn't used just as a matter of convenience (eg: "Like, OMG! If I stay pregnant, I can't be on the cheerleading squad!").
That being said, those trucks piss me off too.
I keep thinking of all the kids in cars who are traumatized by them.
I'm sorry, but I DON'T need to be explaining aborted fetuses to my 9 year old!

Well think of it this way...is it in any way reasonable or humane to let the sort of girl who would say "Like, OMG! If I stay pregnant, I can't be on the cheerleading squad!" to bring another life in this world only to be given the same sort of dismissive value?
Sorry, I still have yet to ever hear a valid arguement against abortion under any circumstances. Not having a go atcha ;)

well, I'm not really one for having them all the time for birth control, but that mostly has to do with the fact that it is so hard on your body. Other than that, me either.

This is a myth. No one uses pregnancy as a means of birth control. NO ONE. They always play up that one lady from Alabama who had seven abortions, and fail to mention that she was a mail-order bride, was in an abusive relationship and was *legally* retarted ( ... )

I don't understand why they think kids seeing those pictures is okay.

It's bad enough to hear about murder and bombings on the news every morning.

zealots can be sickos, when it gets right down to it.

they're hoping to play on your sympathies that you won't be able to rationalize that to your child.

I hate people that hide behind a truck and say "I'm pro-life" Here is what I'd really like to tell the driver of the truck

You know what, if you're *really* pro-life then you should adopt special needs children, you should advocate for SSI and home care, advocate for paid maternity leave, and be against WIC and head start cuts. you should promote birth control. You should be part of the solution.

if not then you're just driving a free truck who can't *live their life* finding solutions to problems, only bash the decisions of others who you claim you disagree with but cannot even donate one baby bootie to support pro life.

But that is hard work, and to positive.
