“Young Master, it is time for bed. Your meeting with the manger of the London branch starts at noon tomorrow and --” The raven-haired butler stopped speaking as he entered the library and caught sight of his fifteen-year-old master gazing open-mouthed at a blue notebook.
“S-sebastian!” Ciel jumped and quickly tried to hide the notebook behind his back.
Sebastian glanced coolly at Ciel, wondering why the boy was so nervous.
“Is something the matter, Young Master?”
“Of course not,” Cield replied, regaining his usual icy demeanor in a flash. “I was just reading.” He seemed to have relaxed, remembering that Sebastian was under his orders and had no right to question him, and he let the notebook fall back into view as he gathered his papers and several books into a pile.
