are you calling the drummer from The Beach Boys a chump? because if you are, i guess you are. i don't actually know if the fool from the BB could play a one-handed roll, but a student of mine i had for 2 weeks while i was still in HS told me his favorite drummer was the guy from the BB because he could play a one-handed roll. i wanted to say to the kid, 'kid - you can't even play the 8-note patterns i give you at 60 BPM - the last thing on your mind should be a one-handed roll.'
