No matter how much Prozac I take, this job still stresses the hell out of me.

This has to start getting better any day now. This ache, this pain has got to start to let up.

I called my doctor's office a little while ago asking for a referral to an allergist, to explore my theory that my sleep apnea problem is related to my allergy. Made an appointment, showed up today.

He's not an allergist. He's an ear-nose-and-throat guy. And he suggests I see an allergist.

He shot novacaine up my nose.

I actually got back from the sleep center around 7:30 this morning, but then went back to bed. It was excellently nice to sleep next to the girlfriend again. I feel reasonably confident that by the time Monday comes my brain will be back to normal. Let's hope...

Earlier this afternoon, the sleep lab called. I was scheduled for tomorrow night, but they called to tell me there was a "scheduling conflict" and they needed to see me next week ( Read more... )

I can't wait until tomorrow night, when I'll be sleeping in the hospital and hopefully will get something I can do to resolve this sleep thing. At this point I'd easily choose hospitalization over this zombielike hell.

Been at work today. My left hand stings when I type because of the cut-in-half fingernail. My right arm is sore from the tetanus shot. Typing is a painful chore.

On the other hand, this story with the hatchet has just been priceless.

After being so efficient yesterday I wanted to keep working on the house today. I replaced the light switch, light switch plate, all the stuff I bought stuff for yesterday.

These days my sleep disorder's getting significantly worse. It's producing some very interesting change I'm feeling:

• My thinking is much slower. I'm drinking a lot of coffee, to try and stay awake, but I'm more sluggish. It takes me much longer than it should to resolve problems or write code.
