Eyah so I gave in and bought "D'ARTISTE Character Modeling".

I was curious on how Francisco Cortina makes his models and I was blown away with his attention for detail. Book also features works by Pascal Blanché, Steven Stahlberg and a bunchload of awesome 3d artists ;3; Now I need to sit down and read this book properly.

Didn't know he worked on the FFIX stuff; that game is easily one of my favorites of the FF series. If only it didn't have that stupid end boss...but the ending was easily one of the best-crafted.

His first break was designing Aya Brea from Parasite Eve, then Final Fantasy IX. Square USA's HQ was in Hawaii before they closed their doors :D
