It seems like, besides the money, Amantino doesn't want to leave Italy because of his newborn child who is still very young. More money of course could 'easily' convince him and his family...
In my opinion it'd be better for him to go and play instead of rotting in the bench or in the stand like he's done lately. But that's just me!

On a totally different topic: wes, if there's still someone who remembers me I'm back =)

Well, it looks like he is staying now. According to OM, Mancini never gave told them yes or no. They were tired of dangling so walked away from the deal. More rotting, it seems.

I think Inter changed the locks over the weekend. Where do you think he'll go?! *g*

I jumped the gun saying buh bye to him waaay too fast :( I actually knew he wasn't leaving *sigh*

At the same time, hooray for Bap not coming! *throws confetti* The math of Nico + ₤4m = us getting him just did not make sense. 1) Nico's been instrumental in Roma's team, while Bap would have just been a sub; 2) I think he's completely useless. I'm glad Jose/Branca/whoever else finally came to their senses.

[I love Baptista, albeit for almost entirely non-footballing reasons -- I'm pretty sure I was the only Inter fans who was delighted by the idea of just getting to see him regularly. I'm not sad he's not coming, because everyone would have been so nasty about him (People, if Moratti and Mourinho make stupid decisions, it's not the fault of the stupid decision himself! (See? I had my defense all prepared, I've been working hard on this.)), but I admit would have like to see his grinny face and giant, barrel chest around the place.]
