Well, um...I kinda stumbled onto the fact that being a Parselmouth is generally considered to be a Dark Gift. Explains why some of you always looked at me funny when I mentioned it. I had no idea until Seimei mentioned it..so I went to the library to read up a little more about it and I guess it's true. Sure explains a lot regarding my mo-Medusa. .

Things which are called Dark should be those which cause unnecessary harm. Being a Parselmouth is harmless unless it is used to hurt others.

I really don't know how it could be used to hurt others...if my snake is any indication they're pretty lazy and don't like to listen.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you! The important thing is that you're still the person you are despite what traits you have.

I'm in Hufflepuff. I think my mother was a Slytherin though....
